In the Western civilization we live in today, we can’t imagine a world without money or a monetary system and in this system everyone deals with money on a daily basis.

First of all we work to earn the money we need to spend on the basic necessities of life, like food, water, housing,… If there’s any money left, we spend it on things we think we need or things we want.

If, after all that, we still have money left, we go to the bank, deposit it onto our account to save up some money, either for the bad years to come or either to invest and build up capital, in the hope we gain some interest and increase the amount of money we have deposited.

There’s not a single country, under western influence, we can separate from a monetary system.
